Affiliation
Time for all you good people to send your affiliations
for the coming season, same as before £20 per team or £10 per individual.
Please send a cheque plus cover note stating what its for to Treasurer,
Kerie Wallace, cheques payable to Wessex Cyclo Cross Association.
Kerie's address is in handbook or on the website www.wessexcx.org.uk,
or send it to me, I live about 1 mile from Kerie. Affiliations have
to be in by the date of the second event for all events to count,
any after that date will only score points from the date of the
affiliation. One new thing that was passed at our local AGM was
that the point scoring for seniors has been changed from 30 points
for a win to 60 points and then ascending to 1 point for 58th place
and below as long as you finish. This will give different amounts
of points to people finishing lower than 30th rather than 1 point
they gain at the moment, hopefully this will give rise to much more
interest for the riders not battling for the medals etc. As usual
any problems don't hesitate to contact me. Look forward to seeing
you all in the coming season

Training
Training takes place
every Thursday at Southampton Sports Centre near the Astro-turf
pitches. Fun starts at 7 and lasts an hour so make sure you get
there early. Paul Coates will be mixing skills with extreme physical
pain and all for just £1 - what could be better?
